We love traveling, nature, mountains, discovering beautiful places, and the art of enjoying life. From active adventures to doing absolutely nothing. From a well-stocked table to the silence of nature.
But our most beautiful journey didn’t begin at a vacation destination…
It began with the birth of our daughter:
Lanah Feliz.
An unexpected, very much wanted, sweet, little,
beautiful girl.
After 3 months, it became clear that Lanah was developing differently than “normal.”
After months of uncertainty, worries, and many tests, the diagnosis came: Limb-girdle muscular dystrophy, LAMA2-MD.
A moment that changed everything.
Our future, which we’d taken for granted, gave way to an unknown path, full of challenges and uncertainties, but also new insights.
We discovered an immense power: the power of love, resilience, trust, and focusing on what is possible.
Lanah is our greatest teacher in this regard.
With her endless smile, courage, and unique perspective on life, she shows us every day that a different path isn’t necessarily a less beautiful one.
In fact… perhaps it leads us to places we’d never otherwise reach. 💛
Our journey now feels like an inner Camino de Santiago: not just a trek through landscapes, but a journey through life. Over hills and mountain ridges, through sun and shade, with falls, getting back up, and always moving forward.
From this place, we share our adventures, our discoveries, and our life lessons.

✨In 2025, the Netherlands got to know Lanah.
Not because she asked for it, but because her story gave a voice to thousands of people living with a rare muscle disease.
Lanah became the face of Serious Request 2025, together with NPO 3FM and Spieren voor Spieren.
Her story revealed what lies behind a diagnosis that many people are still unfamiliar with: LAMA2 MD, a rare muscle disease that has a major impact on her daily life and her future.
But Lanah is so much more than her illness.
She is a cheerful, strong, and extraordinary girl who embodies what resilience means.
A girl who savors the little moments, who touches people with her strength, and who teaches us all something about courage, love, and perseverance.
We are incredibly proud of Lanah and the way she shares her story. At the same time, we would never have wished this path on her.
Behind her smile lies a daily struggle that many people don’t see.
